A Legacy of Shared Beauty
Thirty years ago, a very special woman, my late mother-in-law, gave me my first orchids. At the time, they were a rare treasure I couldn't afford, and her gift taught me a lesson that stayed with me: beauty is most powerful when it is shared.
Like many of us, these orchids have a story of endurance. They were once tucked away, their first blooms finished, waiting for someone to see their strength in the "middle space." We rescue them, nurture them, and wait patiently for their "new mornings."
Today, they bloom again—bringing that same shared beauty to the hands of local seniors.
FOUNDER, ORCHID REBLOOM
The Anatomy of ORB
The Orchid Rebloom identity incorporates our initials, ORB, alongside the structural geometry of the Phalaenopsis—the Moth Orchid—and the wings of a butterfly.
The circular nature of ORB represents wholeness, interconnectivity, and the certainty that the sun always returns to awaken a resting plant. The Phalaenopsis, often discarded when its initial blooms fade, stands as a quiet symbol of resilience. Moths and butterflies mirror this universal journey of resurrection, forever seeking the light.
Finally, the butterfly rests as a silent homage to my late mother-in-law; as they were her favorite. Her early gift of orchids has completely metamorphosed into a lifelong mission.
